Welcome to Glitch Talk, a community for discussing video game and software/operating system glitches! Every community needs a good set of rules and here's ours. This list can be altered at any time, so please keep an eye out for any updates.
1. Treat everyone on the forums with respect. We do not tolerate any form of harassment. If you feel like you've been bullied or threatened by other members here on our forum please send staff a private message. If you find anyone else harassing other people report their posts.
2. We do not allow download links to cracked software, ROMS, or warez. This is a community for glitch research, not a piracy community! We do allow code snippets to be shared and disassemblies of existing projects to better describe how glitches work and if they can be patched.
3. Do not ask to be staff. Whenever we need to hire new staff a topic will be created and the best candidates will be selected. Asking to be staff at any moment will ensure that you'll never be staff on Glitch Talk.
4. Do not backseat moderate on the forums. Use the report button if you find anything that is out of place or breaks a rule. Backseat moderation will also decrease your chances of becoming staff in the future.
5. You are allowed to promote your projects in signatures as well as in the Podium section. Promotion is not allowed anywhere else on the forums. Also only one topic per project.
I hope you all have fun here on our community. I look forward to discovering new glitches I never knew about in my favorite games and to discover glitches found in software too! Also bug fixes those are awesome! 😎
