Minor Glitch Remove Snorlax from the overworld in Gen 1 Pokemon games

This is a glitch I've discovered years ago. There's a way to remove Snorlax from the overworld in the Generation 1 Pokemon games, which bypasses needing to get the PokeFlute. It involves using the long trainer glitch, so you'll need to be sure you have trainers in the overworld you haven't fought yet. Here's the description I typed up. Note this was from 2010, I still haven't had a chance to actually look at a debugging emulator to see what's going on in real time.
    Quote:
    1. Obviously do the Mew Trick (more info can be found here at GCL: https://glitchcity.wiki/wiki/Trainer_escape_glitch)
    2. Fly only to Lavender Town, because this is the only way the glitch will work.
    3. Travel down to where Snorlax would be found, skip every trainer along the way for the glitch to work.
    4. As you can see in my video, Snorlax is now gone and not blocking your path allowing you to travel down Silence Bridge and to continue without the Poke Flute to Fuchsia City.

Here's an old video of mine demonstrating it.
